One Rack. One Channel. Juicyverse Is Now Building the Next Two.

Shraddha Negi has built a Dehradun label on a single retail rack that returns a multiple of what she puts into it. Her next move is to stop depending on it.

Most early consumer brands fail in one of two ways. They cannot find a customer, or they find one and cannot find a second place to reach them. Juicyverse has cleared the first problem and is standing squarely in front of the second.

Shraddha Negi's Dehradun label sells through exactly one channel: a retail rack at the Unhu Startup Emporium at Address One, Malsi. Over recent months, she reports that rack has served a steady flow of customers, a mix of first-time and returning buyers, at an average order value high enough that each sale counts as a considered purchase rather than an impulse one. She writes that the brand recovers two and a half to three times what it puts in each month.

For a business with no website funnel, no paid acquisition and no wholesale, that is a clean read on demand. It is also, in her own words, the entire business. "This is our only distribution channel," she writes.

Bags were never the point

Juicyverse began with aprons, moved into bags, and Negi is now thinking past both. Her framing of the business moved with it. "We are not really in the business of selling bags," she writes. "We are in the business of creating an identity-led experience around self-expression."

The customer, in her account, is defined by mindset rather than age bracket: a woman who likes colour, nature, travel and individuality, and who wants what she carries to say something about her. The brand line is SKIP THE BORING, which she describes less as a tagline than as a filter for who the label is for.

That clarity did not arrive on its own. Over the past year, she credits the Unhu Growth Circle with moving her from instinct to a sequence she can repeat: customer, insight, product, positioning, acquisition, growth. Her strongest learning from it is a sentence worth pinning above most early-stage desks. "Clarity precedes scale," she writes. The alternative, she notes, is the chase, which for a young brand means exhibitions, discounts, selling to everyone and taking whatever comes next.

Three funnels

The next phase is distribution, and Negi has costed it. She plans to run a defined monthly budget over a three-month window across three channels: the Emporium rack she already has, an influencer partnership, and Meta Ads.

The influencer piece is the least conventional of the three. Rather than a straight promotional deal, she writes that the collaboration is a route into physical spaces her customer already visits, including cafés, hotels and boutique homestays, with B2B opportunities to be explored through the same relationship. Festive exhibitions are also on the calendar, and she intends to build both the brand and her own founder profile more aggressively on Instagram.

Product is moving alongside it. Negi reports a new range in sampling, with a launch targeted for October.

On Unhu

Negi sits on the Unhu core committee and does not separate the two things. "I think of Unhu and Juicyverse in the same breath," she writes. The Emporium gave the brand its first real retail validation. What she counts alongside it is visibility, credibility and a network across the Dehradun and Delhi communities, plus mentorship from Unhu founder Kshitij Doval,

whose push to think bigger she credits with changing how she reads her own business.

Her case for recognition rests less on results than on a willingness to keep changing shape. Aprons to bags, and now bags to something she has not fully named yet. "My journey with Juicyverse has never been linear," she writes. The stated ambition is a globally relevant brand built out of Uttarakhand.
