No bots, no buys: BRONOMICS Instagram followers cross 10,000

BRONOMICS Instagram followers have passed 10,000, a threshold its founder says the brand reached without paid or artificial growth.

Kshitiz Gupta, founder of BRONOMICS, posted the milestone to the Unhu Founders Community. He writes that the count was built without bought followers, bots, or fake engagement, and that the audience came from people who connected with what the brand is building.

The distinction matters more than the round number. Follower counts are among the easiest metrics to buy, which is precisely why they have lost most of their signalling value. A purchased audience inflates the number and depresses everything underneath it: reach, saves, replies, and eventually conversion. An earned audience at the same size behaves differently, because the people in it opted in.

For a clothing brand, that opt-in is also the customer list. Gupta thanks the people who wore the pieces, shared the content, or followed the account, treating all three as part of the same base rather than separate audiences.

"In a world where numbers can be purchased, we're proud that ours have been earned," he writes.

He frames 10,000 as a small marker against where the brand intends to go, and describes it as evidence that consistency compounds. That is the harder claim to prove and the more useful one. Reaching five figures organically usually means a long stretch of posting into near-silence first, with the return arriving well after the effort that produced it.

The brand's tagline closes the post: No Rules Just Run It.

Key takeaway: A follower count is only worth what the engagement underneath it is worth. Brands that grow slowly and organically start with a base that actually converts ~Editor Shobhit Mehandiratta
