Shanu Agarwal adds an NLP practitioner credential to her client work

Shanu Agarwal has completed a 30-hour iGNLP certified NLP practitioner course at associate level, dated 16 July 2026.

The certificate of completion names Matthew Barnett of HeadgearLabs as instructor. Agarwal announced the credential in the Unhu Founders Community, writing that it took a long time to finish.

She describes the training as directly applicable to client work rather than a general professional credential, saying it helps her understand clients more closely, read personality, and offer clarity at a deeper level.

The practical case sits at the front end of any service business. Most client relationships fail on diagnosis rather than delivery. The stated brief and the actual need are often different things, and the gap tends to surface late, after the work has been scoped and the timeline set. Training in structured questioning and in how a client frames a problem is aimed at closing that gap earlier.

Agarwal notes the certification was slow to complete. Founders routinely start credentials and abandon them when client work fills the calendar. Finishing one is its own small marker.
