On 22nd November 2025, between 4 PM and 6 PM, the quiet elegance of the Inhouse Experience Centre transformed into a space of dialogue, discovery, and design-led inspiration. The occasion marked a meaningful milestone for Inhouse, as the brand hosted its first-ever Inhouse Designers Meet 2025—a thoughtfully curated gathering of Dehradun’s leading architects and interior designers.

Initiated by Inhouse’s marketing team, Ingenious Minds, the meet was designed not as a conventional industry event, but as a space for real conversations, genuine connections, and a shared appreciation for craftsmanship.

A Thoughtful Gathering of Design Voices
Hosted within the experience centre at BHEL Chowk, the gathering brought together some of the city’s most respected design professionals, including:
Siddharth Kapoor of Siddharth Kapoor Design Studio, admired for context-sensitive and sustainable architecture
Raghav Rakesh from Vastushilp Architect & Engineers, known for structural precision and Vastu-aligned planning
Navdeep Singh of AN Design Studio, recognised for seamless turnkey execution
The team from Singhal Architect, appreciated for durable, aesthetically driven architectural layouts
Our Gaze Alights on Midziyo and Nandini Kakkar
Among the most admired presences of the evening was Nandini Kakkar, Founder of Midziyo. Celebrated for her deeply functional and emotionally intuitive interior language, Nandini’s work reflects a rare balance of practicality, warmth, and customisation.

Her design philosophy is rooted in human experience. Her spaces also feel intentional, lived-in, and quietly refined. Throughout the evening, her insights around textiles, space planning, and adaptability resonated strongly with fellow designers and the Inhouse team.

Experiencing Inhouse Beyond the Product
Designers explored Inhouse beyond its signature hand-woven carpets, engaging with new textures, materials, detailing, and upcoming collections while interacting directly with the team behind the brand’s evolving vision.

Discussions flowed around:
Modern fabrication techniques
Sustainable material choices
Changing homeowner expectations
How premium furnishings shape contemporary living spaces
What unfolded was not a showcase, but a meaningful exchange between tradition and modern design thinking.
Why Such Meets Matter for Dehradun
Events like the Inhouse Designers Meet represent more than networking. They reflect the maturing design ecosystem of Dehradun—where architects, interior designers, and home brands are beginning to engage as collaborators rather than isolated practitioners.

The Deep Structure: Value Beyond the Price Tag
For Inhouse, the meet reaffirmed its deeper purpose—to preserve the art of weaving while translating it into modern design sensibilities. The evening reaffirmed that craftsmanship grows strongest when shaped through dialogue with architects, designers, and the lived realities of modern homes.

By the close of the gathering, the room carried future intent—ideas for collaborations, co-created spaces, and long-term partnerships rooted in creative alignment ; also it was a highly productive synthesis—a dynamic meeting of minds where creativity, technical expertise, and advanced design thinking converged under one roof.

The Inhouse Designers Meet 2025 unfolded not merely as an event, but as a quiet milestone—strengthening Inhouse’s role as a natural partner for professionals who value authenticity, material integrity, and imaginative craftsmanship.
